Season 2

Season 2, dubbed Highwaymen, is the second season of XDefiant that was active from September 25th, 2024 to December 18th, 2024.^[1]

Overview[]

The Season 2 update added in the Far Cry New Dawn faction Highwaymen, featuring Paulo, Li'l T and Nova with their Saw Launcher, Scrap Turret, M79 and Revved abilities. In addition, three weapons and a device were added being the PP-19, L86, SPAS-12 and Smoke Grenade, three maps were added being Waterfront, Signal and Air & Space, and the new game mode BOMB!. The Fluted Barrel, Extended Mag Tube, Horizontal Grip and Small Horizontal Grip attachments were also introduced, exclusive to Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, and the PP-19 respectively. Private Matches were first released, allowing players to create custom games.

Over the course of the season, the Stellar Strike event was active, the first time limited seasonal event in XDefiant. This was immediately followed by the 2024 Halloween event.

Battle Pass[]

The Battle Pass featured 90 levels with 95 rewards and costed 1,000. Five rewards were awarded immediately once the pass was purchased. Free rewards are marked in red.
