The Flashbang Grenade is a device available in XDefiant.

Overview

The Flashbang Grenade is a non-lethal grenade that temporarily blinds and deafens players within its area of effect. It is possible to negate the effects of a Flashbang Grenade by looking away from the blast before it detonates. The Flashbang Grenade is unlocked after killing 25 enemies suffering from status conditions.

September 25th, 2024 Patch

• (Undocumented) - Changed the Flashbang Grenade icon.

July 2nd, 2024 Patch

• Added a new and improved visual effect for the flash grenade (replacing the previous effect, which was...intense). The new effect is less retina-searing but still appropriately disorientating.
